Being a Teacher and a Father

How can I start a day of teaching? Every morning this is my dilemma of what approach should i use for my grade 6 and grade 5 students because i've been their teacher for just a month...My Grade 6 and 5 students will surely think..."Here's the terror, strict and grade conscious teacher", well what can i do? I've learned to care for them since day 1 of being their teacher...Obviously, my students were not "sanay" so to speak, with my style and rules, but obviously again my students were eager to learn...but with a little "takot" with these strict style.

Well, I am their father...a father who cares for their welfare, especially with their studies. How can I give them a good grades? They should know that they are the one who worked for their grades, they are the one who should be blame...but as a father, should i tell it to them? Practically, my other part (being a teacher) will surely say "YES"! Study more...work hard...work for a better grades...not because I tell them but because i order them to. As a father...well, I agree with the teacher...which of course my other part.
